Exclusive: “Iyanya’s Manager Is After My Life” Saga: Rundatrax Will Go To Prison For Two Year For His Atrocities” Ubi Franklin Says…

Franklin Ubi  vs Producer Rundatrax : A while ago music producer Rundatrax took to Instagram to announce that Iyanya’s manager Ubi Franklin was trying to kill him. According to him, he was stranded and locked -up in Lekki while Ubi was after him with Gunmen. He is also pleading to the general public to help him out. Diamond Celebrities contacted Ubi to hear his own side of the story and this is what he told us: “Even though I do not wish to talk about this issue until I see the guy in prison, I decided to tell your magazine the story”. “What happened was that, the guy in question I’ve known him for over 10 years now. One day he just appeared at my door post in Lekki, said that Iyanya gave him the address to come. He was pleading me to help him. After a long talk, which was in September, I told him you are not qualified to produce Iyanya but I’ll sign you as our producer so that way people will give you jobs to do. He agreed. I gave him the contract in December that will tell you how unimportant signing him was to me.

I introduced some people to him for job. He collected money and never did the job. Some other people from whom he collected jobs and never did their jobs came to me to complain. That was when I noticed that he opened an account in my name without my knowledge and asked them to pay into the account. One time he ran away for 5 days when he noticed people were calling me on his matter. I finally settled about two people and warned him to go do people’s jobs because I won’t take his nonsense anymore. The last one that raised this alarm was on my birthday, when about two policemen came looking for me and wanted to arrest me.

I refused because first they did not have a warrantof arrest and secondly I did not do anything that deserved arrest. After they narrated the story to me that the producer in question collected money from a son of an Army Officer to produce a song for him but never delivered. I asked them to come back that I’ll personally hand him over to them when he comes. Before then he’s been on the run for three days, but because that day was my birthday he came back. I took him and locked him up in one room, waiting for the policemen to come and pick him up. Unfortunately before the policemen returned he broke my window and ran away. I tell you, this guy will surely go to prison for at least 2 years for all his atrocities. I’m really upset right now.

How could one help someone and put himself into trouble? When we asked Mr Ubi how possible it was for someone to open account in another person’s name and data without their knowledge, he said these things are possible in Nigeria. “It’s very simple”. Well, we hope that they will find a way to amicably settle their differences without any bloodshed…
